Tottenham Hotspur announce Stellini separation and appoint ex-player for second round

Tottenham Hotspur have officially sacked interim manager Christian Stellini following his side’s 5-1 defeat to Newcastle.

After the Golden Spurs parted ways with Antonio Conte at the end of March. They appointed Stellini, formerly Conte’s assistant, on a temporary basis until the end of the season. But with a poorly organized performance, taking care of the team in 4 games, winning only one match and losing up to 10 goals, finally Spurs managed to change again, this time it was Ryan Mason, a former player who was temporarily in charge of the army. The era of Jose Mourinho came in to make the team until the end of the season.

Club chairman Daniel Levy said: “As the result last Sunday was unacceptable. It was humiliating and horrifying. But of course we are all responsible for. What happens, especially me.

“Stellini will step down with his staff. Christian has come to help the team at this difficult time this season. We are all grateful and grateful for his professionalism. The club wishes him the best of luck in his further roles.”

“In addition, Ryan Mason will take on the role of team manager. He knows the club and the players very well. The club will update the story of the new team soon.

“I have spoken to the staff and the players. We have to join forces to finish this season as best as we can. And, of course, in return for the great support from the fans as always.
